Corcoran Vineyards & Cider is a small family-owned vinery situated in northwest Loudoun County. The winery opened in 2004 and specializes in hand-crafted ciders and Port-style wines.

One of the most unique views in all of Loudoun County Virginia. Nestled on the cliffs of the Potomac River, the brewery offers views of Maryland and West Virginia, including the town of Harpers Ferry in the distance. The beer list is endless, offering a variety of styles including hop forward Ales, Stouts, IPA's and seasonal favorites.

Although freshly minted in the brewing business, the Virts family has been actively farming in western Loudoun since 1767, more than 50 of those years on an iconic Hillsboro farm that perfectly frames The Gap. The Baki family bought the property in 2001 with the hopes of creating a vineyard and winery with the help of their son, Kerem. The family began their dream with Bora and Kerem planting each vine by hand in 2003 afterwhich, Kerem served his first wines out of tasting room that same year. Kerem's brother Tolga, assisted in the development and marketing of the vineyard and later turned his own brewmaster skills into reality by adding amazing craft beers to the tasting room line-up. 


5. Notaviva Craft Fermentations

Notaviva Farm Brewery and Winery is located on the eastern slope of the Blue Ridge mountains between Hillsboro and the Appalachian Trail in  western Loudoun County. The company was founded by the husband and wife team, Stephen and Shannon Mackey as a winery in 2008 and expanded in 2019 to include a brewery. The Mackeys were brought together by their love of music.  As a result of that musical background all of the beverages  at Notaviva are paired with a musical genre or lyrical inspiration.

On 10 acres along an old country road (Old 690) crawling up into the Short Hill from Hillsboro, Mark and Ronda Powell started their craft brewery nearly a decade ago, calling themselves “Hillsboro’s Oldest Brewery” and becoming one of the most successful pioneers in Loudoun’s craft brew vanguard. Committed to using locally grown ingredients to brew great beer and to creating a convivial and welcoming atmosphere, Old 690 has become a favorite getaway for locals and visitors from afar.


7. Wheatland Spring Farm and Brewery

Wheatland Spring sits on 30 acres of rolling Virginia farmland 5 miles northwest of Hillsboro. Named for its natural water source, the property was established circa 1832 as a working farm, as it is today. The farm is family-owned and operated and grows its own grains, herbs and native yeast to  create high quality beers using water from a natural spring on the property.
